About

Cranfield School of Management

Life at Cranfield is different. It is the only university in Europe with its own airport, the only 100% postgraduate university in the UK, and it was one of the first schools in the country to offer an MBA. It’s not located in a major city, but nestled deep in the English countryside. Its vast campus includes student accommodation blocks, a technology park, and two hotels with conference facilities. So it’s different – but different is often better.

Founded in 1967, three years after the university launched its first MBA program, the Cranfield School of Management is a pioneer in business education. It’s ranked among the top business schools in Europe and is one of just 100 triple-accredited schools worldwide. Its rural location allows students to immerse themselves in their studies, but it’s also less than an hour away from London and Birmingham. It means that the school’s MBA students have easy access to two of the UK’s biggest job markets.

Cranfield’s full-time MBA focuses on practical real-world learning and leadership development. It comprises 17 core management modules plus an additional seven electives of your choice. This combination of modules provides students with the business fundamentals together with specialist knowledge in areas of their choice. Cranfield’s Executive MBA is run in partnership with Grant Thornton, one of the world’s largest accounting firms. Over the course of 28 months, students firstly deepen their knowledge of their organization and its strategic goals. They then start to apply their learnings to become a senior leader capable of driving change.

As one of the most unique business schools in Europe, there’s no better place for your career to take off than at the Cranfield School of Management.
