Whitman School of Management

Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management is a historic school in a historic city. Syracuse lies at the crossroads of several North American cities including Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and New York City. Although its location makes it a key transport hub between Canada and the United States, it is also a thriving city with a long history. In Syracuse, you have the best of both worlds: a welcoming study environment at a campus university coupled with easy access to major cities.

The city’s university is one of the top employers in the region and has been active for more than 150 years. Its business school, Whitman School of Management, is just as historic, founded in 1919 as one of the first business schools in the country. It is now a top-ranked school that boasts the resources of a large university while retaining small class sizes and personalized student attention. With a world-class faculty, a highly diverse student body, and a range of innovative programs, an education from The Whitman School sets you up to be a future business leader.

There are three MBAs on offer at Whitman: a full-time MBA, an online MBA, and a Defense Comptrollership Program (DCP). The full-time MBA is highly customizable, with seven possible electives that you can study at Whitman or at another one of Syracuse’s schools. It’s also notable for the fact that most MBA students are likely to be eligible for a merit-based scholarship to cover the costs of tuition. The school’s online MBA is designed with flexibility in mind. You can tailor the program around your career interests and take part in live online classes that fit around your work commitments. You’ll also have the chance to meet classmates and faculty at conference-style weekends in cities around the globe.
