Rady School is located on the UC San Diego campus in La Jolla, California. The campus is near the ocean, the Pacific Rim, and a short ride from San Diego. San Diego is a vibrant city with a strong community feel. It is also California’s second-largest city, after Los Angeles and offers all the resources and diversity of a major American metropolitan area.
Rady School of Management offers three MBA programs. The Full-Time MBA is a 21-month program, taught on campus in La Jolla. The Part-Time MBA is a 24-30 month, evening MBA program for working professionals. The Executive MBA is a part-time 22-24 month weekend program for mid-level working professionals. All MBA programs are designated STEM programs that focus on an analytical and data-driven curriculum. The STEM designation also allows international students on F-1 visas to be eligible to work in the United States for an additional 24 months.
The Rady School of Management is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
All candidates admitted to the MBA programs are automatically considered for merit-based fellowships. This includes the Michael Kriegler Memorial Endowed Fellowship ( awarded to outstanding students with demonstrated leadership in or an interest in pursuing a career in biotech, the pharmaceutical industry, or health sciences management), the Anklesaria Endowed Fellowship (awarded to candidates who demonstrate the capacity to become impactful leaders), and the Fellowships for the Future Fellowship (awarded to outstanding students that personify the Rady School’s core values of innovation, impact, collaboration, integrity, and risk-taking).
Among Rady School’s research centers is the California Institute for Innovation and Development (CIID), which supports and encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and startups through its many initiatives. This initiative includes StartR, mystartupXX (for female entrepreneurs), the Triton Innovation Challenge, Rady Venture Fund, Rady Innovation Fellows, and Border Innovation Challenge. CIID ‘s flagship program StartR is a non-profit four-month accelerator; it provides current students and alumni the opportunity to participate in focused hands-on company development. Since its founding 15 teams have graduated into prestigious incubators like YCombinator and Evonexus, and StartR companies have raised over $158M.
