Location

Accreditations
UCT Graduate School of Business holds the prestigious triple-crown accreditation: EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, established in 1967.
Programs
GSB offers two MBA programs. The GSM MBA is a full-time, 12-month program for early-career professionals with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. And the Executive MBA is a 24-month, part-time program for senior managers and executive leaders with a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
Scholarships
GSM offers several MBA scholarships. This includes the GSM Scholarship (awarded to young and talented African students; amounts range from partial to full tuition), the GSB Foundation Scholarship (awarded to candidates who work towards the betterment of the African continent), and the Bertha Center Scholarship (awarded to entrepreneurial candidates specializing in inclusive Innovation programs; amounts range from partial to full tuition).
Fun fact
UCT GSB Case Writing Center produces award-winning teaching cases that reflect the African and the emerging market context. The center works towards creating local and current case material for MBA students; material that is relevant to South Africa and the African Market. The Case Writing Center was established with funding from the Harvard Business School’s Alumni Africa Club. It has since then created a collection of teaching cases, some award-winning, that are relevant to doing business in emerging markets.
