IPADE Business School is Latin America’s leading business school, with a mission to equip students with individual integrity, social responsibility, and a global vision. Set across three campuses in Mexico, the school offers a Full-Time MBA, featuring a demanding curriculum that is grounded in the IPADE Case Method. Originally developed by Harvard Business School, the Case Method is designed to perfect your leadership skills and hone personal initiative.
Students are a blend of local Latin American talent and ambitious entrepreneurs from all over the world. As a student, you are inspired to actively participate in your MBA journey through dynamic classroom debates and real-life business cases that grow your capabilities as a decision maker.
The IPADE Case Method
The IPADE MBA Case Method is divided into three core stages. Its structure embodies the Study-Team-Plenary Cycle, which focuses on a blend of individual and group work. This dynamic structure facilitates deep learning and gives you an active role in a holistic learning experience.
Over 900 cases are analyzed over the 21-month duration of the ISADE Full-Time MBA. The stages of the Case Method are:
Individual Study
You take on the sole responsibility to objectively analyze a case, identify facts, and understand the precise nature of the problems you’re addressing. You then design, define, and evaluate a potential solution.
Team Discussion
In the second stage, you will work with a small group of classmates. You share your findings and opinions while discussing potential strategies. As a group, you essentially take the role of a board of directors. ISADE purposefully designs these small groups to be formed of diverse profiles, giving you a wider set of perspectives and a richer collaborative experience.
Class Discussion
Finally, you gain a deeper understanding of the case during a professor-led class discussion.
Answering questions asked by the teacher and conversing with the group, you will evaluate and improve upon the ideas generated throughout the Case Method stages.
