Bournemouth University Business School is an established faculty based on the South Coast of England in the UK. The school’s origins trace back to the Bournemouth Municipal College, founded in 1913, before evolving through the Dorset Institute of Higher Education and obtaining university status in 1992.

What Programs Can I Study at Bournemouth University?

The Bournemouth MBA is an intensive program designed to accelerate leadership careers, offered as a 12-month full-time course or with an optional 30-week professional work placement extending it to 2 years. 

The curriculum focuses on developing strategic management competency, entrepreneurship, and sustainable practices, allowing students to apply theory directly through consulting projects and placement roles. The MBA is made up of six core units and option units plus a consultancy or research project. 

Does Bournemouth University Have Any Scholarships?

Bournemouth offers several funding options for postgraduate students: 

The Academic Excellence Scholarship awards a £4,500 tuition fee reduction to candidates holding a 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent). 

The Academic Achievement Scholarship awards £2,000 to those with a 2:2. There is no need to apply, as applications will automatically be assessed.

Chevening Partner Scholarships and a 20% BU graduate discount are available.
