Location

CUHK Business School is located in Sha Tin, 30 minutes by train from downtown Kowloon and 20 minutes from the Lo Wu border. The 137-hectare campus is home to a beautiful mix of flora and fauna as well as world-class facilities, including classrooms, libraries, museums, lecture theaters, and sports facilities.

Hong Kong at large is an international hub that attracts students and professionals from all over the world. It is often characterized as a unique fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. Hong Kong is also a dynamic financial and business center, where some of the largest companies in the world house their headquarters. You’ll find companies across industries – from technology (Apple, IBM, Google) to finance (Bank of China, HSBC, Sino Land) to consumer services (Cathay Pacific, Esprit, Next Digital). Clearly, the city attracts global companies and business owners who are looking to engage with markets throughout Asia.

Accreditations

CUHK Business School was one of the first two business schools in Asia to receive accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The school is also accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).

Programs

Our Full-time MBA (12 Months) and Part-time MBA (24 Months) Programme curriculums build essential Finance, Entrepreneurship, Digital & Management skills for digital era. It comprises six optional concentrations – Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Information and Technology Management, Finance, China Business and Marketing. Leveraging on our deep connections to mainland China, especially the Greater Bay Area, we actively contribute to the social and economic development of this region.

Our JD/MBA Programme jointly hosted by the Faculty of Law and Business School is designed to nurture a new generation of business professionals who also understand the constraints and opportunities of business law, an increasingly coveted trait across a wide range of leadership roles in Asia.

Our MBA Plus MSc/MAcc Programmes allow our MBA talents to gain academic qualifications for both broad business & management knowledge and in-depth technical knowhow in Accountancy/Business Analytics/Finance/Information & Technology Management/Marketing/Real Estate, and earn additional master’s degree with less time and tuition fee.

MBA students can also choose to apply for Dual MBA Degrees with HEC Paris, University of Texas at Austin or Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.

Scholarships

CUHK Business School offers merit-based scholarships to exceptional candidates, assessing criteria such as academic and professional achievements, interview performance, and potential contribution to the community.

Scholarships include the CUHK MBA Excellence Scholarship (covering up to the full tuition fee of the program), the Entrepreneurial Leader Scholarship (awarded to candidates with at least two years of professional experience in entrepreneurial projects), the Women in Global Business Scholarship (awarded to female leaders with experience in international companies), and the Young Global Professional Scholarship (awarded to aspiring young professionals from an underrepresented nationality).

Fun fact

CUHK is home to notable faculty members, including four Nobel Prize winners and recipients of prestigious accolades like the Fields Medal and Turing Award.

The Nobel Prize winners are Chen Ning Yang (Chinese physicist), James Mirrlees (British economist), Robert Alexander Mundell (Canadian economist), and Charles Kao (British-American physicist). Other notable faculty members include Shing-Tung Yau, Chinese-American mathematician and recipient of the Fields Medal and the Veblen Prize, and Andrew Yao, Chinese computer scientist, computational theorist, and recipient of the Turing Award.
