Location
Durham University Business School’s campus is located in the city of Durham. Durham City is a beautiful, historic city in Northeast England. The University’s academic departments, sports facilities, social areas, and colleges are located across this compact city. You will be studying in a historic city with cobbled streets and old English architecture. Regular train services can connect you to big cities, such as Newcastle, Manchester, and Edinburgh, or you can explore the countryside and coastline just outside the city.
Accreditations
Durham University holds the triple accreditation, or the “Triple Crown”. Durham University Business School is accredited by the three most important accreditation organizations AACSB, AMBA, and EFMD/EQUIS. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, established in 1967. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels.
Programs
Durham University Business School offers three MBA programs. The Durham MBA is a full-time, 12-15 month MBA with one of three specialization pathways: Entrepreneurship, Consultancy, or Technology. The Durham MBA Online is a flexible program that can be taken fully online or in a hybrid format that combines online and on-campus classes. The Durham EBS Executive MBA is an 18-month dual degree program with a focus on international business. You will study your Executive MBA program at two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Durham in the UK and the Upper Middle Rhine region in Germany.
