EADA is an independent, non-profit institution founded in 1957 and it became a Private University Foundation in 1984. EADA is dedicated to training, applied research and knowledge transfer to the business world and to society in an international context.
EADA has two campus locations. Its main Barcelona City Center Campus and the Collbató Residential Training Campus, which is a residential training center located 40 km from Barcelona in the town of Collbató. EADA’s two locations offer the best of both worlds, the Barcelona campus keeps students in the urban core of the lively and vibrant city of Barcelona, while the Collbató Residential Training Campus is in the heart of nature, facing the Montserrat mountains.
EADA offers the following five MBA programs:
The Global Executive MBA is a 14-month program with a strong international focus. To be eligible applicants need a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, a bachelor’s degree, and English proficiency.
The Executive MBA is a Spanish-taught, 14-month program. Admission to this program is provided based on a strong interview.
The International MBA is an English-taught program, taken on campus in Barcelona. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree, GMAT scores, and two letters of recommendation.
The MBA Bilingual is a hybrid Spanish and English-taught program. It is an International MBA offered on campus in Barcelona.
The MBA Online is a 24 month online MBA (with 3 residential weeks in Barcelona), taught in Spanish.
EADA’s programs are accredited by EQUIS and AMBA. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, was established in 1967.

EADA is a pioneer in Spain (since 1989) in using the experiential outdoor training methodology in its programs. This outdoor training methodology promotes social competencies. It involves partaking in various activities in nature or an outdoor setting. The Collbató Residential Training Campus is designed specifically for this purpose with its natural location, outdoor classrooms, and activity centers.
