Accreditations

HEC Montreal holds the prestigious triple-crown accreditation: EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, established in 1967.

Programs

HEC Montreal offers four MBA programs. The Full-Time MBA program is available in French and English; it's a one-year program taken on campus in Montreal. The Part-Time MBA, also available in English and French, can be completed in two years. The McGill-HEC Montreal EMBA is an executive MBA offered in partnership with McGill’s Desautels Faculty of Management. The EMBA is a part-time, 15-month program, available in bilingual (French-English) format.

Fun fact

As part of the MBA program, students can participate in the Creative Destruction Lab accelerator program. This program allows students to work with tech start-ups in Canada and advise them in key stages of their development. This unique experience provides invaluable real-life experience and keeps students in touch with the business community during their studies. It allows them to apply theoretical concepts in everyday life and see results. The Creative Destruction Lab has helped hundreds of tech start-ups in Canada take-off.
