Location

HKUST Business School’s main campus is located amidst the Clear Water Bay in a new, self-contained building with a student lounge, classrooms, and breakout rooms. The campus has basic amenities such as banks, medical clinics, a supermarket, and food outlets, as well as recreational facilities such as a library, swimming pools, fitness centers, tennis courts, an athletic track, and a football pitch. The city center is less than 30 minutes away by public transport.

HKUST also has a Downtown Campus in Hong Kong’s business district, providing a more accessible location for elective courses and networking events.

Accreditations

HKUST Business School is one of the first business schools in Asia to be accredited by two world-leading accreditations: the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).

Programs

HKUST Business School offers four MBA programs, including the first tech/green MBA in Asia focused on sustainable leadership

The part-time MBA program (weekly mode) is held on Saturdays or weekday evenings, while the part-time MBA program (bi-weekly mode) is held bi-weekly on weekends.

The Digital MBA for Global Leaders (DiMBA) is a part-time fully online MBA program focused on digital leadership skills.

Lastly, the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program is an 18-month program for senior executives, offered jointly by HKUST Business School and the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Scholarships

HKUST Business School offers a variety of scholarships, such as the Merit Scholarship which covers up to 100% of the tuition fee. The criteria for this scholarship are demonstrated work experience, international exposure, strong academic performance, references, and interview performance. MBA candidates are automatically considered for this scholarship.

The school also rewards professionals with outstanding achievements, called the HKUST Professional Awards. These awards include the HKUST MBA Global Citizen Award (for candidates who have extensive global experience), the HKUST MBA Women Award (for female candidates with a strong track record in promoting women leadership and gender diversity), the HKUST MBA Entrepreneur Award (for candidates with entrepreneurial experience), and the HKUST MBA Consulting Strategy Award (for candidates with experience in international consulting experience).

HKUST Business School is the first business school in Asia to offer a tech/green MBA, focusing on sustainable, responsible leadership. In 2021, HKUST launched Hong Kong’s first sustainable and green finance focus, with courses like “Sustainability as a Competitive Advantage,” “Responsible Leadership and Ethics,” and “ESG Investing.”
