Location

NHH Norwegian School of Economics is located in Bergen, Norway’s second-biggest city and arguably its most picturesque. It is surrounded by fjords, mountains, and wharfs, yet remains a bustling, cosmopolitan city. The NHH campus is situated to the north of Bergen’s city center and is around a 10-minute journey by bus.

Although the main NHH campus is located in Bergen, most of the gatherings for the school’s Executive MBA program take place in the capital Oslo. It’s a six to eight-hour train journey between the two cities.

Accreditations

NHH is accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), one of the “big three” accrediting bodies and the main body in Europe.

These accreditation bodies exist to verify the quality of a school’s business education. Unlike the other two major bodies, AMBA and AACSB, EQUIS also takes the internationalization of a school into account.

Programs

NHH focuses on executive education. Its flagship Executive MBA is a part-time program studied over 24 months. It is ideal for managers with at least 10 years’ work experience who are hoping to break into executive positions. The program takes place over a number of different weekends in Oslo, although it also includes two study trips to NHH’s partner schools in Europe and Asia or the US.

EMBA students at NHH can choose from four different specializations: Management Control, Seafood Management, Strategic Management, or Technology and Innovation of Finance. Each of these electives is centered around a specific problem relevant to the world of business.

Scholarships

NHH Norwegian School of Economics does not currently offer any scholarships for its Executive MBA program.
