School
Location
Porto Business School’s campus is located in the coastal city of Porto. The campus spans over 10,000 m2 and is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art facilities. Porto is a beautiful city known for its wineries and baroque architecture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and holds the European Capital of Culture status.
Accreditations
Porto Business School holds the prestigious triple-crown accreditation: EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, established in 1967.
Programs
Porto Business School offers three MBA programs. The Executive MBA is an 18-month, part-time program for mid to senior-level professionals, available in English and Portuguese. The International MBA is a full-time, English-taught, 13-month program that focuses on global business perspectives. The Digital MBA is a 12-36, part-time, hybrid format program, available in English and Portuguese.
Scholarships
The International MBA offers a limited number of merit-based scholarships that cover up to 40% of tuition fees. Companies partnering with the Porto Business School and members of the Porto Business School Alumni may be eligible for discounted rates. Fun fact
Porto Business School has ties with top international universities including UC Berkeley, Cornell, SC Johnson College of Business, and McCombs School of Business. Students of the MBA programs spend their global immersion week at one of these international universities. Additionally, the school has ties with MIT Sloan. Students can participate in the MITx MicroMasters® Program, available digitally, taught by MIT instructors. Students who have successfully completed the program are eligible for credential benefits such as eligibility to an accelerated master’s degree program at MIT and other pathway schools. Upon completion of the program, students become an affiliate of the MIT Alumni Association.
