LKCSB’s campus is located in Singapore's central business district within the arts and heritage precinct. The campus is easily accessible by Singapore's efficient public transportation system. Accreditations
The Lee Kong Chian School of Business is accredited by EQUIS and AACSB. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
Programs
LKCSB offers two MBA programs. The SMU MBA is a 15-month, full-time, or 18-month part-time program with the possibility of completing it in 10 months. The minimum admission requirements are a good bachelor’s degree, two years of work experience, and GMAT scores. The SMU Executive MBA is a 12-month, part-time program designed for senior working professionals with a minimum of ten years of work experience.
Scholarships
LKCSB offers several MBA Scholarships. This includes the Academic Excellence Award ( awarded to exceptional candidates on academic performance, covering up to 30% of the tuition fee), the Community Impact Award ( awarded to candidates who have contributed to society through community service), and the Impact on Asia ( awarded to candidates who have contributed positively to the Asian regions).
Fun fact
SMU is a leading business school in Asia; it was one of the youngest schools to receive the AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. Its business education is modeled after The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). As part of the EMBA program, students will spend a week at Wharton School. Candidates for the EMBA come from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East with a large number being C-suite executives with an average of 20 years of corporate experience from a wide variety of geographies, industries, and roles. The EMBA students also spend a week at Sasin School of Management, and Antai School of Economics & Management (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) to gain a truly global perspective.
