Location
UWA Business School has a picturesque campus on the banks of the Swan River, just minutes from the city of Perth, in Western Australia. The campus features iconic sandstone buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens. The campus is just a short walk from Perth’s shopping and business district as well as many of the city's incredible beaches.
Accreditations
The University of Western Australia Business School is accredited by EQUIS and AACSB. EQUIS is an international accreditation awarded by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is an international accreditation organization for business schools, based in Brussels. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
Programs
UWA Business School offers two MBA programs. The MBA Intensive is a 12-18 month full-time, on-campus program for early-career professionals with at least two years of relevant work experience. The MBA Flexible can be taken in a part-time or full-time format and can be completed in as little as 16 months. The program is designed for working professionals with at least three years of relevant work expertise.
Students also have the option to combine their MBA with a Master of Laws degree.
Scholarships
UWA Business School offers several MBA scholarships to domestic applicants (Australian citizens and residents). This includes the Mark and Paige Barnaba MBA Intensive Scholarship (awarded to exceptional candidates; worth 12,500 AUD), the Mining Leaders Scholarship (awarded to candidates with a demonstrated interest in the mining sector; worth 15,000 AUD), and the UWA Indigenous Scholarship (awarded on merit to Indigenous candidates, covering full-tuition).
Fun fact
UWA Business School has a state-of-the-art trading and analysis center, the largest trading room and training facility of its kind in Australia, called The Rosemarie Nathanson Financial Markets Trading Room. This facility offers access to industry-standard tools you would find in a real hedge fund or trading desk. The facility has 50 financial terminals and data from the ASX, NYSE, and LSE that allow UWA students to gain real-world experience and boost their employability.
