Location

Webster Vienna occupies the Palais Wenkheim, a 19th-century neoclassical palace repurposed into a modern campus. The city of Vienna is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, architectural marvels, and a plethora of cozy cafes and restaurants. Webster Vienna's prime location in the Austrian capital allows for easy access to other Austrian cities or short train rides to Hungry, Slovakia, or Czechia.

Accreditations

Webster Vienna MBA degrees are offered through the Webster Walker School of Business & Technology. The US-based Webster George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology is accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs).

Programs

Webster Vienna offers the Webster MBA, a highly flexible MBA program designed for career-starters and early-career working professionals. The program focuses on case studies and real-world applications. The Webster MBA can be done in three different modalities: in-person lectures, WebNet+ (synchronous Zoom lectures), or asynchronous, fully online classes.

Scholarships

Webster University Vienna offers several scholarships for master’s degree students. Among them is the Webster Vienna Private University New Student Scholarships. This scholarship has three different levels with different eligibility requirements and awards ranking form 3,000 to 8,000 euros.

Fun fact

Webster Vienna is known for bringing American-style higher education to Central Europe. In 1985, Webster Vienna became the first institution in Austria to offer an accredited MBA program. In 1988, Elisabeth Chopin became the university’s director, making Webster Vienna the first university in Austria to be run by a woman.
