The campus of Merrick School of Business is located in the center of Baltimore’s thriving business sector. Programs
Merrick School of Business offers two MBA programs. The University of Baltimore MBA (UBalt MBA) is a part-time, highly flexible, and customizable program designed for busy working professionals. The program is available fully online, fully in person, or in a hybrid format (a mix of both). The UBalt MBA offers 11 specialization areas that students can choose from, such as Data Analytics, Digital Business, Health Care Management, and Leadership and Management Development.
The Online MBA is a part-time program that can be studied completely online or in a hybrid format. Students can choose to specialize in four areas (Data Analytics, Finance, Leadership, and Marketing) or they can build their own specialization in a custom option.
Scholarships
All MBA applicants at Merrick School of Business are considered for merit-based scholarships. The school also awards the Dean’s MBA Scholarship to exceptional candidates with a minimum GPA of 3.5. The scholarship covers US$3,750 per semester for full-time students and $2,500 per semester for part-time students.
Fun fact
The University of Baltimore was founded by a group of civic leaders in Baltimore, who aimed to provide low-cost, part-time, evening studies in business and law to working adults. Its first law class was made up of 62 students, while its business class had 114 students. The initiative soon grew into a full-scale university.
Today, the school has over 27,000 alumni and around 500 current graduate business students. It maintains its focus on offering flexible programs, making high-quality education accessible to ambitious working students.
