School

Location

The URI College of Business’s campus is in the small student town of Kingston. URI has over 120 student organizations from cycling and sailing to slam poetry and meditation. Students can also drive down to the coast and visit some of Rhode Island’s famous sandy beaches and seaside Colonial towns.

Accreditations

The URI College of Business is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

Programs

The URI College of Business offers two MBA programs. The One-Year MBA is a full-time, 12-month on-campus program for career starters and early-career professionals. The Part-Time Evening MBA is a 30-month program designed for early-career working professionals. Students also have the option to combine their MBA with a Master of Oceanography, a Doctor of Pharmacy, or a B.S. Industrial Systems Engineering.

Scholarships

URI College of Business offers no scholarships. Unemployment, Senior Citizen, Disabled Veteran, and RI National Guard Tuition Waivers are available for eligible Rhode Island residents.

Fun fact

The Pacific-Basin Capital Markets Research Center (PACAP) was established in 1989 at URI to meet the growing demand for information relevant to Asia-Pacific capital markets. PACAP has become recognized internationally as the leading research institute on Asian capital markets. PACAP provides information on capital markets in the Pacific-Basin region including historical research data for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
