Location
Terry College of Business has four campus locations in Georgia. Its main campus is part of the University of Georgia’s historic and beautiful campus in the small and charming town of Athens. The Atlanta Buckhead campus is in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta’s uptown commercial and residential district. Atlanta is a booming metropolis in the South of the US, providing plenty of career and internship opportunities.
Accreditations
Terry College of Business is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
Programs
Terry College of Business offers three MBA programs. The Full-Time MBA is a 24-month, on-campus program for early career professionals, available in Athens. The Professional MBA is a part-time, 20-23 month program for working professionals, available in Buckhead. The Executive MBA is an 18-month program designed for mid-level working professionals, available in Buckhead.
Scholarships
Terry College of Business offers a limited number of merit-based MBA scholarships. All applicants are automatically considered for these scholarships. This includes the Thilo Best MBA Assistantship and Fellowship Fund (which provides a two-year assistantship plus a 2,000 USD scholarship), the Georgia Power MBA Assistantship Fund (which provides a tuition waiver, an assistantship stipend, and an additional 4,500 USD per year), and the Lorberbaum Fellowship Fund (provides five scholarships worth 10,000 USD per year, for two years).
Fun fact
Terry College of Business’s MBA programs are especially welcoming to military veterans, who are given a personal contact person and special counseling to help them make the transition to the civilian workforce. The veteran’s initiative can include tuition and test score waivers and several funding opportunities. Veteran and current active duty military candidates receive career counseling with an emphasis on their leadership credentials and operational capabilities.
