Athena School of Management is located in Powai, a suburban district in the modern Mumbai metropolis. In Powai, you’ll find over 300 corporate institutions, including Deloitte, JP Morgan, Kellogg’s, Sony Pictures, and Bayer India. Mumbai itself is the largest city in India and the country’s financial capital, home to headquarters of companies like Procter & Gamble and Citibank India. Besides its thriving business and financial world, Mumbai is also the center of India’s film industry – also known as Bollywood!
Athena’s campus is only a 15-minute drive from the Mumbai International Airport. The campus facilities include an e-library, cafeteria, conference and meeting rooms, and an elegant lobby. There are also three hotels, a large number of cafes and restaurants, and international shopping stores like Reebok and Adidas, close to the campus.
Athena School of Management offers two MBA programs. The Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) is a two-year, full-time program covering all areas of modern business, and focused on creating future corporate leaders. The PGPM includes a total of 7-8 months of internships at leading companies in India.
The Global Management Program in US (GMP US) is a Dual Degree Program in Management, offered in conjunction with the University at Albany School of Business. The GMP US is also a two-year program. The first year takes place at Athena School of Management in Mumbai and the second year takes place at the University at Albany School of Business in New York. Upon graduation, students will receive two qualifications – a PGPM from Athena and a STEM-approved MBA (or MSc) from the University at Albany – State University of New York (SUNY Albany).
Athena School of Management has received accreditation from various national and international organizations, including the UN Global Impact, FCU, the Business Graduate Association, and the Association of Indian Management Schools.
Athena is also a member school of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Athena is part of the 1% of the world’s business schools that are a member of all three ecosystems. Athena School of Management offers merit-based scholarships worth 100,000 rupees, on the basis of the candidate’s admissions interview performance.
Students at Athena School of Management have the opportunity to join several student societies and clubs. This includes the Rotaract Club of Athena, the Marketing Society, the Finance Society, the Sports Committee, the Culture Society, the Entrepreneurship Society, and the International Society.
