Location
The Foster School of Business resides on the main University of Washington campus in Kirkland, Seattle. The campus is situated near green spaces, sports venues, museums, theaters, and plenty of cafes and pubs. Students can make the most of water activities from canoeing and kayaking to boating or walking along the lakes. Seattle and the Eastside are home to iconic companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, and Starbucks, all of which have headquarters within minutes of campus, and are among the school’s top-hiring firms. Students have the advantage of accessing area leaders and residing in a fast-growing, cosmopolitan city. At the same time, proximity to mountains, forests, and water makes it easy to hike, ski, and paddle around a region famous for waterways and wilderness.

Programs
Foster School of Business offers six MBA programs. The Full-time MBA is a two-year, full-time program taken on campus in Seattle. The Evening MBA is a part-time program for working professionals. The Executive MBA is a 21-month, part-time program for senior professionals. The Hybrid MBA: Foster’s online MBA is a part-time, two-year program for busy working professionals. It combines online and on-campus classes. The Technology Management MBA is an 18-month, accelerated course for technology professionals interested in business management careers. Finally, the Global Executive MBA is a one-year accelerated program for professionals invested in learning global strategies.
Scholarships
The Foster School of Business offers several merit-based Scholarships to its Full-time MBA students.
Fun fact
Students enrolled in the full-time MBA program are introduced to and immersed in the program through LEAD Week. Students meet and work with a core study team, which are groups of four or five students that work together to accomplish projects and initiatives. Collaborative learning is a fixture of the full-time program, where students will learn team dynamics whether it’s through study teams or through a guided climb of Mount Rainier.
