Location
GWSB’s historic campus is in Washington, D.C. nestled between the White House, the Kennedy Center, and a number of federal and international agencies. MBA students at George Washington University’s School of Business have unique access to business leaders from both public and private sectors and to policy makers.
Accreditations
GWSB is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
GW, the institution, is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), one of the six (former regional) accrediting organizations that are “recognized” for its quality reviews by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the United States Department of Education (USDE).
Programs
GWSB offers seven MBA programs. The Global MBA is a 21-month, full-time program for students who wish to have a global perspective on business. The Accelerated MBA is a part-time program, designed to allow working professionals to complete an MBA degree in two years. The STEM-designated MBA combines technical and quantitative fields with the traditional business discipline. The Professional MBA (part-time) is a part-time program designed for working professionals with four paths to completion: Cohort, Self-Paced, Online, and Hybrid. The MBA in Security Technology is focused on the management of the transition of technology from development to commercial and government applications. The Online MBA (part-time) is a highly flexible, part-time program designed to accommodate the schedule of working professions. The Online Healthcare MBA (part-time) is designed specifically for those who are interested in the business and leadership aspect of healthcare organizations.

Graduates from George Washington University’s School of Business will join an alumni network that includes Gen. Colin Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Carolyn Schwab-Pomerantz, president of the Charles Schwab Foundation; George Wellde, former partner and vice chairman of Goldman Sachs; and Olympian Michelle D. Knox-Zaloom, who competed in women’s rowing in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
