Scheller is leading the innovation of business education because the school is part of a world-renowned technical research university — focused on applying technological advancements to every conceivable commercial and social enterprise.

Location

The Scheller College of Business has a rapidly expanding campus in midtown Atlanta. The school undertook a $180 million multi-building complex project, called Tech Square, in 2000 that includes a 2,000-square-foot trading floor, used to train all levels of management students to use financial analysis and electronic trading tools. In 2018, the school announced the beginning of the Tech Square Phase III initiative. The high-rise two-tower complex will add more than 400,000 square feet of space to Tech Square.

Accreditations

Scheller College of Business is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. 

The Georgia Institute of Technology is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

Programs

The Scheller College of Business offers three MBA programs. The Full-time MBA is a 22-month, on-campus program for early-career professionals with a minimum of two to three years of work experience. The Evening MBA is a part-time, 24-36 month program for working professionals. The Executive MBA is a part-time, 17-month program designed for mid to senior-level business professionals, with at least five years of work experience.

Scholarships

The Scheller College of Business offers a limited number of scholarships for the Full-Time MBA and the Evening MBA. This includes the Graduate Assistantships (awarded on merit and a 14 hours per week commitment to graduate assistant duties; amounts could be as high as 93,000 USD), and a number of Fellowships (awarded to exceptional students with leadership qualities).

Scheller College of Business’s Tech Square is an entrepreneurial hub, home to five startup accelerators, 10 investor offices, and more than 200 startups through the Enterprise Innovation Institute, VentureLab, TechSquare Labs, and Georgia Tech’s own business incubator, the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC). The school is invested in applying technological advancement to every sector. Tech Square’s location amidst business innovation and technology encourages MBA students to explore internships and learning opportunities in pioneering startups and corporations.
