Fun fact

At Loyola Marymount University, all MBA students are required to complete a program called Comparative Management Systems (CMS), in which they work in study groups to conduct research on a specific business topic. The program culminates in a two-week trip abroad, giving students firsthand knowledge and exposure to global business and management practices. During these two weeks, students meet with business executives to learn more about the local business environment and visit local attractions to learn more about the culture and customs.

Upon their return to LMU, students present their final research to the rest of the class and faculty. To date, students have visited companies in more than 43 cities, including Beijing, Prague, Reykjavik, Bangkok, Stockholm, and Rio de Janeiro. Ultimately, the CMS program gives MBA students insights into international management as well as the skills to connect and collaborate with business leaders from across cultures.
