Maastricht School of Management provides education and advocacy for ethical management, inspiring leadership, innovative entrepreneurship and effective public policy, building on its unique history in working together with institutions in emerging economies for better global management.
Location
Maastricht School of Management’s campus is in the small city of Maastricht. Maastricht, a university city on the southern tip of the Netherlands, is distinguished by its medieval-era architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Belgium and Germany are just a short ride away and so are major Dutch cities such as Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
Accreditations
Maastricht School of Management is recognized by the Dutch ministry of education and is accredited by NAVO; NAVO is the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders, an independent accreditation organization set up by the Dutch and Flemish governments.
Maastricht School of Management is accredited by AMBA. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international impartial authority on postgraduate business education, established in 1967. The school is also accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs), which specializes in the accreditation of Business programs globally. Additionally, MSM has received institutional accreditation from the ATHEA Board of Commissioners for the Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA). And finally, MSM has also received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), based in the US.
Programs
MAS offers three MBA programs. The Full-time MBA is a 12-month, full-time, English-taught program, taken on campus. The Online MBA is a part-time, 32-month, fully online program for working professionals. The Executive MBA is a 32-48-month part-time program designed for working senior professionals.
Scholarships
MSM offers many MBA scholarships. This includes the Academic Excellence Scholarship (awarded on the basis of academic merit, covering up to 50% of tuition), the Women Ambassadorship Scholarship (awarded to women candidates based on the strength of their application, covering up to 50% of tuition), and the Public Service/NGO Scholarship ( awarded to candidates with past/current experience working for NGOs, covering up to 25% of tuition).
Fun fact
The Maastricht School of Management is involved in several development projects involving the public and private sectors in collaboration with international development agencies in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. The Expert Center for Emerging Economies offers consultancy and customized training programs and manages complex projects in key sectors of Agribusiness Development, Private Sector Development, Rule of Law, Mental, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Water Management.
