The McCombs School of Business’s campus is in Austin Texas. Programs
The Full-Time MBA is a 24-month program taught on campus in Austin for candidates with a bachelor’s degree. The Evening MBA is a part-time program for working professionals, available in Austin. The MBA at Dallas/Fort Worth is a 21-month, part-time, evening MBA for working professionals, available in Dallas. The MBA at Houston is a part-time, 21-month program for working professionals, taken in Houston. The Executive MBA is a part-time 20-month program for senior working professionals.
Scholarships
The McCombs School of Business offers a few scholarships for the Full-time MBA program. This includes the U.S. Citizens & Permanent Residents scholarship ( All US-based MBA candidates are considered; amounts range from USD 2,000 to full-tuition awards), the International Students scholarship (awarded to international students selected by the admission committee, covering USD 2,000 to full-tuition), and the Current MBA Students scholarship ( awarded to second-year MBA students based on merit and need).
Fun fact
McCombs emphasizes entrepreneurship through the Venture Fellows program which places students as interns in startups, venture capital, or private equity firms, and the Board Fellows program which places students on the board of directors for Austin-area nonprofit organizations for one year. Additionally, McCombs+ Leadership program offers students a chance to do micro-consulting projects with companies including Dell, SAP America, Deloitte Consulting, and American Airlines.
