Portland State University School of Business’s campus is in the dynamic city of Portland. Programs

Portland State University School of Business has two MBA programs. The Portland MBA is a part-time, 21-month program for early career, working professionals; Students can opt to take evening classes or day-time classes, depending on their schedules. The Healthcare MBA is a part-time, 21-month, hybrid (80% online, 20% in person) executive program for working healthcare professionals.

Scholarships

Portland State University School of Business offers several graduate scholarships, including the PSU Scholarship (awarded on the strength of the candidate’s application; amounts vary), the Graduate Business Admissions Scholarships (awarded based on merit, covering 40% of total tuition), and the Graduate Business Program-Specific Scholarships ( awarded to Portland MBA students sitting for the Chartered Financial Analysts exam, covering 1,400 USD).

Fun fact

Portland State University Center for Entrepreneurship began the first and only statewide collegiate invention competition, to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. Since it began in 2016, the competition has grown from just a handful of competing institutions to a truly statewide program with 20 institutions from across Oregon. Each team in the program receives USD 2,500 in development grants to advance their project. The team will then compete for USD 30,000 in prize money. Former winners such as Safe Start, Nexgarden, Printed Pet Prosthetics, and ProduceMate are currently in various stages of business formation and commercialization.
