Rice Business is home to both graduate (Jones) and undergraduate (Virani) schools of business, offering a world-class education at Rice University. Because of our unprecedented growth, we’ve broken ground on a new school building. This impressive 112,000-square-foot structure is designed to accommodate the evolving needs of our community, featuring state-of-the-art classrooms, modern office spaces and vibrant amenities such as dining areas, open gathering spaces and facilities for private events. The new building will seamlessly integrate with McNair Hall, our current home, enhancing our campus environment and ensuring we continue to cultivate a collaborative culture. 

Accreditations

Rice Business is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

We have obtained STEM designation for all our MBA programs. This is a response to the data-driven business environment, employer needs and student interest. Our Rice MBA graduates are known in the marketplace for broad problem-solving skills, reflecting a curriculum grounded in quantitative and data-analytic methodologies across the disciplines. 

Programs

No matter your personal journey, we have built a program that will meet your needs. We offer a range of MBA formats, all taught by the same world-renowned faculty, including full-time, professional, executive, online and hybrid options. We also offer deferred enrollment to the Full-Time MBA for undergraduate seniors, dual degree programs (MBA/PSM and MD/MBA), a Ph.D., a Master of Accounting, an undergraduate business major and minor, and an undergraduate entrepreneurship minor.

Additionally, we offer executive education programs designed to help experienced professionals strengthen their leadership skills or address specific organizational and management opportunities in their current roles. 

Scholarships

We know an MBA is a significant investment in yourself and your future. We’ll help connect you with every opportunity for assistance. We offer merit-based scholarships for Full-Time MBA students (both international and domestic). When you apply for admission, we automatically consider your application package and credentials for a scholarship; there are no additional steps. Scholarship awards are announced in your admission packet.
