Location

The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management’s main campus is in Ithaca, NY; it also has a secondary campus in New York City. Students can enjoy the best of both worlds. They can fully immerse themselves in their studies on the Cornell main campus in Collegetown, Ithaca, or enjoy all that NYC has to offer. Ithaca offers a great outdoor experience and top-notch eateries.

Accreditations

The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

Programs

The school offers five MBA programs. The Two-Year MBA is a full-time, on-campus program for early-career professionals or career changers. The One-Year MBA is an accelerated, full-time program for career enhancers with an advanced degree. The Cornell Tech MBA is a full-time, 12-month program for business professionals interested in the intersections of technology, entrepreneurship, law, computer science, and engineering. The Cornell Executive MBA Americas, offered in partnership with Queen’s University, is a part-time, 17-month program for senior working professionals interested in global business. The Cornell Executive MBA Metro New York is a part-time, 22-month program for working senior professionals in NYC. The school also offers several dual-degree MBA programs.

Scholarships

The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management offers a number of MBA scholarships. This includes the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellowship ( awarded on merit to African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native American candidates of the two-year MBA), the Park Leadership Fellowships (awarded on merit to US students, covering full-tuition), and the Forté Fellows Program (awarded to exceptional women candidates).

Fun fact

Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise provides MBA students with distinctive experiential learning opportunities and collaborates with organizations to help tackle the social challenges of the 21st century such as climate change, ecosystem degradation, and poverty. The school offers several internship funds to Johnson MBA students who take a low- or no-compensation summer internship directly involved in social or environmental impact.
