University of Stellenbosch is a triple-accredited African business school focused on responsible leadership development. It has been over 50 years since USB opened its doors to 14 MBA students in 1964. Today, USB has grown to offer world-class education to over 28 000 students from all over the globe.

Programs

The flagship MBA program is offered in both modular and blended learning formats, catering to working professionals. Students can specialize in areas such as Health Care Leadership, Project Management, and the Management of International Organizations. The curriculum includes 18 core modules, electives, an International Study Module, and a Leadership Development Module, fostering a holistic and customizable learning experience.​

Scholarships

Stellenbosch Business School offers partial MBA bursaries to eligible students, with applications closing on November 30 each year. Additionally, the Stellenbosch University Postgraduate Scholarship Programme (PSP) provides full and partial scholarships based on academic merit and research potential, open to both domestic and international students.

Fun fact

Stellenbosch Business School has several Social Impact Projects in South Africa. The Small Business Academy aims to improve the businesses and the lives of small business owners in low-income communities. This is achieved through the sharing of knowledge that enhances the business skills of small business owners during a nine-month development program. The Management Programme for Non-profit Organizations (NPOs) is a social impact initiative, which aims to develop current or aspiring NPO managers who have no formal qualifications in management. The program’s objective is to promote social development in South Africa by enhancing managerial effectiveness, service delivery, and good governance in the NPO sector. 

Stellenbosch Business School also conducts research on diversity in the workplace that uncovers workplace structures and suggests ways on how recruitment, selection, performance management, and promotion should be re-examined to exclude covert forms of bias.
