Fun fact

As part of the MBA program, students participate in the Management Game. The Management Game is an applied strategic management and general management exercise where teams of students operate computer-simulated companies for 3 years. Student groups act as the executive committee of a multinational manufacturing company. They compete with each other as they add value to their companies. The highly unstructured nature of the class makes it invaluable for students preparing to enter the job market as skilled leaders. Carnegie Mellon was the first university to adopt this method of learning in 1958. Since then, it has been adopted by many other business schools as an effective business simulation model.
