GSM’s main campus is in Davis. It has two additional campuses in Sacramento and San Ramon in the San Francisco Bay Area. These three strategic locations give students access to the booming economic and technological resources of San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Napa Valley, and Sacramento. This innovative hub area offers myriad opportunities to MBA graduates.
GSM offers four MBA programs. The UC Davis Full-Time MBA is a 24-month program for early career professionals, available in Davis. The Bay Area Part-Time MBA is a 24-36 month program for working professionals, available in San Ramon. The Sacramento Part-Time MBA is a 24-36 month program for working professionals, available in Sacramento. And The Online MBA is a fully online program that can be studied from anywhere in the world.
The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is accredited by AACSB. The AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
GSM offers several MBA scholarships. This includes the Dolan Family Management Education Award (awarded to candidates who have overcome, or are currently facing, a significant personal financial hardship or other obstacles in their life; worth 4,250USD), the Joncarlo and Jami Mark Scholarship (awarded to outstanding students with financial need; worth 2,200 USD), and the Kenneth E. and Joanne M. Nitzberg Scholarship (awarded to re-entry women candidates; worth 2,500 USD).
GSM MBA students gain plenty of hands-on experience throughout their studies. As part of the program, they solve pressing, real-world problems in Fortune 500 firms to Silicon Valley startups. During the annual “shadow day,” MBA students get a behind-the-scenes look at corporate life by shadowing alumni in their workplaces. Student bodies and societies include the Associated Students of Management (ASM) which enables networking, philanthropic activities, extracurricular and social events as well as allows students to feed in ideas to the MBA program structure and content. “Net Impact” is a venture that seeks to expand the business education of its members and enhance their leadership skills. “Big Bang!” is an annual 20,000 USD prize competition run by MBA students to promote new business development, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship on campus and in Northern California. Sports clubs include inhouse teams that compete in various sports in the MBA Challenge for Charity (C4C) which supports the Special Olympics and family oriented local charities.
