Location

UNC Kenan–Flagler Business School’s campus is in the friendly small town of Chapel Hill in North Carolina. Chapel Hill is a welcoming student town. It makes up one of the corners of the Research Triangle. The Research Triangle is the common name for the research-intensive and cosmopolitan area that has sprung up around the University of North Carolina, Duke University in Durham, and North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

Programs

UNC Kenan–Flagler Business School offers five MBA programs. The Full-Time MBA is a 21-month on-campus program for career starters. The Evening Executive MBA is a 24-month, part-time program for early-career working professionals, with at least two years of work experience. The Weekend Executive MBA is a 21-month, part-time program for mid-level business professionals with at least five years of work experience. The Charlotte Executive MBA is a 24-month program for Charlotte-area working professionals with at least two years of work experience. Lastly, the Online MBA is an 18-36 month fully online program for early-career professionals.

Scholarships

MBA applicants are automatically considered for available fellowships and scholarships. This includes the UNC Kenan-Flagler fellowships (awarded on merit, covering full-tuition costs plus a 5,000 USD stipend), the Full tuition fellowships (awarded on merit to candidates with exceptional work experience), and the MBA Veterans Scholarships (awarded to veterans; amounts help veterans cover accommodation and other expenses).

Fun fact

UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School provides MBA students with plenty of opportunities to gain real-world experience. It has a few Case competitions for entrepreneurs looking to develop their business ideas. The Non-profit Board Consultants places MBA students on the boards of nonprofits in North Carolina, which offers exposure to high-level strategy and leadership experiences, opportunities to interact with experienced mentors, and a chance to serve the community. UNC Kenan-Flagler also provides students with opportunities to get hands-on experience managing investment assets. It has 13 student-run funds that manage more than $18 million. And lastly, the STAR consultation allows students to apply consulting frameworks and methodology to real business projects domestically and around the world.
